I have found a real Japanese culture in karate at Dover, UK, which we
Japanese already forgot it a long years ago.
After 1945, we Japanese were educated to forget the Japanese cultures and
sometimes even to deny them, and then the educations of schools and homes have
lost the ways now. And, it produced many young people who fight and
injure easily, bully the weakers, killing creatures, doing prostitution
business, and forget the human's duties. (These may be common problems of many
countries of today's world.)
The Japanese martial arts have taught the people about the human's duties,
the necessity of respect the other people, guarding the weakes, and the
importance of peace.
I know the karate and judo are now very popular sports in the world. And,
I also know that the reason why they are spreaded to world wide, because they
are teaching to people the necessity of mental training, and NOT fight easily,
but to love a peace and to respect the friends and parents and teachers and
others.
I am very happy to find out the karate dojo (school) where the teachers
are teaching real mental training to children and young people. I felt
that their soft smiles are loving a peace, and their bowing meaning they respect
any people beyond the borders and races.
Many thanks to Mr. Mike Knight who gave me a chance to know the real Japanese
good culture. I will introduce this back to Japan and to many other
countries in the world.
Best regards
