News Updates

Fulham Spring Events

The football tournament is only one week away, Sunday 23 Jan, so please let me know if you would like to enter a team.  We are playing 5-a-side teams, in under 10, 13, 16 and over-16 age-groups.  Other activities too (table-tennis, pool and other entertainments in between).  Mixed teams – unless there are >10 girls.  £25 per team including free chocolate and Prizes!  11am-3pm.  A week this Sunday.

Kids Camp will be a fantastic day of events and activities, open to all ages (of kids!) and abilities, including new students or visitors / siblings who want to try out karate.   All day Sunday 6 Feb.

The Great Techniquathon (Sunday 5th March) promises to be an extraordinary event, with press coverage, non-karateka guests, and several chances for students to pit their wits, fitness and endurance against the most terrifying opponents (eg time and gravity mostly!).  Students should start training extra hard now because there are going to be some stance-offs, plank-offs, oh and a few thousand techniques to enjoy.  All sponsored.  Forms and stuff to follow.  And a wonderful dinner and entertainments in the evening.

I should mention that we are raising money for charity as well as to cover some expenses for senior promotions in New York, end of March.

Finally the Fulham Dojo Seminar this year will see some debut appearances from some Senpais who will bring some new ideas and techniques to make this a very rich learning experience.  Sunday 13 Feb.
