Travel Information

Venue : Bucks University, Queen Alexandra Rd, High Wycombe HP11 2JZ (Events Hall).

Bucks University is easily accessible by road and rail. The university is 5 min’s drive from Junction 4 of the M40, and 10 minutes walk from High Wycombe train station (Chiltern Railways from Marylebone run a service every 20 min’s and it takes only 30 minutes from London). The central bus station is also only 5 minutes walk away.

If you are travelling by car, we have arranged free car parking. Please enter the University using the road access opposite the fire station, signposted ‘main entrance’. There is small lay-by, where you car temporarily park and obtain at car park pass from Reception. You will then be signposted to a car park location (car park A is nearest to the venue hall). The events hall is on the 2nd Floor above the reception. There are also a number of local town centre paid car parks in easy walking distance if you prefer. You will need to obtain an exit barrier token from reception when you leave the event.

If you plan to bring students by coach, please drop your students at the bus stop opposite the Hospital / Office Outlet entrance , students can then walk safely to the reception area.

If parents are dropping off students by car, the easiest way is to drop them at the bus stop opposite the hospital / office outlet and they can walk to reception safely. If however you plan to drop students via the entry opposite the fire station, they can use the drop off area outside reception, but they must collect an exit token to leave the car park as there is a barrier in operation (exit tokens are available from reception).
